It's been a year...

It's been a year since I started this blog and I think I should celebrate don't you? Since you are one of  the main reasons I publish this blog, you should be the one getting the gift don't you think? So to celebrate I'm going to giveaway some Cotton Kiwi goodies. I'm going to have three giveaways.

One is for a Cotton Kiwi Tape Measure Brooch.

The next prize is for an appliqued teacup tea towel

and the final prize is for a sock monkey.
If you follow my blog already, or are a Cotton Kiwi fan via facebook, all you have to do is leave a comment below or on my Facebook page, telling me how you would celebrate your ideal birthday.
If you aren't a follower or a fan on Facebook already, just become one and leave a comment as above. If you blog about the giveaway, let me know and I'll give you an extra entry.

Don't forget to leave me some way of contacting you. The winning names will be drawn out of a hat on Friday 30th April at 5pm so check back here on Friday to see if you've won! Good luck!

Happy 1st Blog Birthday!

hmm let me see - somehow I missed my 30th and have been missing birthdays since then! I think this year we will have to go out to dinner with the whole family - eek I certainly don't feel like I'm going to be 33! Not really a party girl :)

congratulations Sarah on a year of blogging! It's so much hard work keeping a good blog and you manage to do it very well indeed =)
Ideal birthday? A birthday with just a little bit of peace and quiet for some 'me' time — it's pretty rare these days! Then to spend the rest of the day with family, friends and most likely a dinner at Kura Japanese restaurant =)

I'm a follower :D Happy blog anniversary! I have no idea when mine would be lol. My ideal birthday would also be some quiet time. I'd love a day out and about in a fun city with just my hubby and I with dinner at a quality restaurant in the evening.

Happy One Year Anniversary!!! Congrats! For my birthday I love a decadent French restaurant where I eat too much (and secretly have to undo my top button!) and time with my lovely man :) Hope all is well :)

golly! you are doing well, what with all your commitments. happy blogiversary! i hope you manage to keep it up.
i can't say that i have an ideal birthday - i just like to see where the mood (or my husband) takes me. so i guess the ideal birthday is one that is different each time.

Happy Blog Birthday to you! I have no ideal birthday, but one where I don't have to make dinner and have a big sleep in would do me! oh and maybe a trip to the fabric store where I could browse with no time limit!

Oh, how fun! My ideal birthday celebration would be to wake up to breakfast (french toast) and coffee in bed. Mmmm, and maybe I would just stay there all day! Snuggled up with a new book and a magazine or two!

Happy One Year Blogiversary! :)

My ideal birthday would be one spent with hubby and the kids quietly at home! Maybe they could do all the chores for that day - yep, that'd be nice!

My ideal birthday would be celebrated in the forest, waking up to a gentle breeze coming through the tent door, to the sound of birdsong and the smell of a campfire and the warmth of a cup of tea. Simple but true, I haven't been able to go camping for a long time because of some health issues and if I could do that again it would be so brilliant. Thanks for your lovely blog and for sharing your anniversary day so generously :o)
