My Creative Space is turning these...
and I have finished the korker hair accessories I started last week.
The tutorial for them is here.
I've also been rather brave and gone from this hair colour (which I've had since university)...
to this one...
My children have told me I look like I have old lady grandma hair and my other half didn't even notice. I like that I won't have to colour my hair so often and that it is closer to the colour of my daughters' hair. But then again... I'm not sure I can take much more of the "you have old lady grandma hair" taunts that the girls are finding so hilarious! Maybe I should go back to being platinum blonde. What do you think?

Your hair looks great Sarah! I did the same thing a few years ago. You're right about not having to colour so often!!
I think it looks great also. Your hair looks nice and healthy - nothing like Grandma hair! I'm still waiting for the day that I 'have' to colour my hair - at this stage I've had a couple of greys but nothing like my Mum had at my age. I have dark hair so when they do decide to appear, they're really going to stick out!
Good on you. A change is as good as a holiday (they say). I like it but will I recognise you?
Sx
I like it, it's a "calm" colour and nothing at all like a grandma, there's no blue rinse in sight :-) And those hair accessories are amazing, thanks for sharing!
Love the tape measure brooches! Very creative! And your hair is definitely not grandma hair! :)
Love the tape measure roses. And keep the hair, it's a great colour on you.
I like the new colour...very much.
I love those measuring tape ribbons, sooo cute! I may have to to get myself one!

I m in love with those tape measure roses! So beautiful! Thanks for sharing!
Oh, your hair looks lovely, very soft colour and it will be so much easier on you. Like the rosettes too, they have quite an old fashioned charm.
The tape measure roses look great! As does the new hair - I get soooo tired of having to dye, dye, dye again!
Awww you look great! And wow those tape measures sure were transformed Awesome!
YOU are oh so very cleva!!

Aren't children adorable:) The tape measure roses are awesome.
I love the tape measure rosettes. Just gorgeous! Your new hair looks lovely - a much softer colour. And what do kids know anyway?
Love the tape measure roses and your hair is a perfect au-naturelle colour.
I like the new hair colour. It looks great. Just tell Maddy and Eloise that it is the same colour as theirs so their hair must be grandma hair also.
I'm about to go back to brown after being black for the last few years. I'm sure I'll get a few of the same sort of comments from my girls too. Enjoy all the extra time and money you have now that you don't have to dye it as often.
hey there i'm new to your blog.... firstly your hair is so lovely the colour it is now i would keep it look's "natural" and PS..... how did you do the brooches made of tape measures i LOVE them xx
Those brooches are SO clever! And your hair looks lovely! So shiny and healthy...not at all like grandma hair :)
I adore the coloured tape...they are sweet. The new hair is a good choice.
the roses are very clever and very pretty. i love the new colour, don't listen to the girls, when i get my hair coloured my daughter tells me i look like Severus Snape
Wow, those are the coolest roses!
Love the hair!
Those broaches are fantastic, love your new hair colour, suits you.
Love the granny hair! (So seriously un-granny-like, Sarah; sometimes the little imps just don't know what they're saying...) The rosettes are absolutely perfect...where do you find your measuring tapes?
love the brooches and your hair looks great. Especially because it is closer to your daughters hair. I recently cut my hair quite short and my daughter spent the day calling me Dad!
No way!! I HAVE to try this!!
xo Steph
the roses look great ... and so does your hair. (my dh never notices anything to do with my hair ... I'm wondering whether he recognises anything about me except for my voice!).
oh I like the new colour, lovely & fresh - IGNORE your girls :p
I love how the hairbows came out. They look gorgeous.
