It's quite hard to avoid girliness in our house. We're going through the 4 year old pink stage. I'm not complaining. It's great having a willing model and prototype tester! I've been busy making flower filled fairy skirts this week.
This one went to a new home this morning. It's a birthday present for a 4 year old. The transaction had to be conducted with extreme secrecy as the flower filled fairy skirts the lady buys often don't make it out of the house as gifts because her daughter snaffles them. Very cute!
I've got some new sparkle skirts too.
They really are hard to photograph. You can just about make out the glitter in the skirt in the one above. It's part of the fabric and sparkles like you wouldn't believe.
The glitter skirts have Miss Eloise's approval.
She's testing this one out for me. So far she has left a trail of sparkles everywhere she has been. Apparently that's okay because that's what fairies do. The skirts may have to come with a glitter-distribution warning!
What do you think? Would you buy one dispite the glitter distribution? It's not that bad but glitter does get everywhere!

I think they are adorable..Though I wouldn't mind the glitter. I highly doubt the hubby would enjoy going to work with all the guys in his uniform sporting glitter :)
The skirts are lovely. Glitter everywhere wouldn't bother me - it is pretty much everywhere in our house anyway.
I do love the idea of them leaving a trail of fairy dust but yes a warning is probably a good idea. Not everyone would love it.
How divine. I couldn't resist buying my daughter a tulle skirt last year. It had a little bell hanging off the waistband on a velvet ribbon which I just thought was so sweet.
The sparkle skirt looks gorgeous!
Fairy dust is finer than normal glitter, so thats okay!
I remeber making all these gorgeous fairy skirts for my little girl, who is now 12. How depressing!! Your daughter will always love the things you made for her!
i would love a trail of glitter around the place.
it would make the place feel magical.
absolutely gorgeous.
agree with Kirsty though, may need to add a warning just in case some people are anti-glitter spreaders ;)
♥
Glitter is good!
these are just lovely! sadly I have boys. the fairy dust idea is sweet, but I agree, not everyone's cup of tea
Ok I have to come clean. I adore the glitter skirts but not in my house. If my girlies want to play with glitter they have to go outside. I'll do anyhthing to avoid the deaded vacuum cleaner.
i have no opinion on glitter, but i do like the skirt being worn over stripy leggings and boots. and what boots they are! why did i never have shiny pink biker boots as a four-year-old?
it looks amazing, so lucky my Holly is in bed already because if she saw that she would want it so bad.
I LOVE glitter! And I don't care if it is all over my floors..it makes me smile!! Your skirts are divine. Hope your weekend is all sparkly and glittery :)
Yay for glitter! What gorgeous skirts and so sweetly modelled. Have a happy weekend xo
There is nothing wrong with a little glitter in you life in my opinion. Hubby does not agree with me :( They are lovely though.
Adorable skirts... though I may be partial to the first one. The trail of glitter is always a challenge with the sparkly items, but they are so much fun.
very,very cute!
i would offer them with or without glitter. some people are really annoyed by it. :)
The skirts are beautiful! I'm not a fan of glitter as it does get everywhere and is so hard to clean up, but I love the flowers in the skirts!
oh there are much worse messes than glitter trails! The skirts are just gorgeous Sarah. Hope you're having a happy weekend x
