My Creative Space - A new dress for Miss Madeleine

Good old Kwik Sew pattern 3169 strikes again. I've made it longer, tunic style and added embroidered doily pockets. She says she loves it so fingers crossed she will wear it.

Do you think the dress needs a flower brooch on the neck or is that too much?

It's nice just the way it is. But it's funny you should say that, as I was thinking of putting a flower brooch on the neck of the dress I've almost made!

Love the fabric - I think it looks great but would probably look fab with a flower too.

I think it looks gorgeous....and really anything with pockets ticks all the boxes for my girl and anything with doilies ticks all the boxes for me!

Flower brooch, flower, brooch, of course it is darling just as it is, but you can’t have too much brooch action!

Thanks everyone for all your lovely comments and suggestions. I still haven't managed to get her to wear it (fussy little thing that she is) but I shall and she will love it (she says in great hope!).
