Wow! Wooly Walk Along

I was lucky enough to be part of an awesome team helping to put up the Wooly Walk Along on Devonport Wharf yesterday. Over 75 metres of knitted and crocheted goodness made by 90 people from around the world. My knitted Dan Carter (after a lot of discussion) was placed next to a piece with a single word: Wisdom. I was so proud to be a part of the group. Well done to Knitty Graffity for all her hard work organising it!

And here's my Dan Carter looking very happy in the sunshine!
The Wooly Walk Along will hopefully remain in place for the full 6 weeks of the Rugby World Cup so pop along to Devonport and have a look if you can!

Hey Sarah - Love the photos - thanks for "taking" me there. Being away from home while the RWC is on has suddenly made me sooooo patriotic! Love your Dan .... well done you. And the other knitted goodies are incredible. If it wasn't so incessantly hot here I would almost be tempted to find knitting needles and start knitting something! Hope the weather holds out and doesn't destroy or damage the display over the next few weeks. Ciao

popped over from mousehouse. That is awesome. Your Dan is super sexy and I love the kiwis with the rugby ball. I'm not a creative person so am in awe at everyone's talent. Hope it does stay in place the whole 6 weeks. If I didn't live in Japan I'd definitely be down to see it.
