Guess what the little buggers that call themselves my daughters did to keep themselves amused this morning?
On the plus side, it was a cheap ball of yarn that I was using to knit some dolls clothes for them.
On the down side, it was a full ball of yarn and so this wasn't the only room they did it in. The 'Spider web' continued around every book, fairy light, toy, pram and hanging mobile in my youngest daughter's room before they decided to show me the progress.
For some reason they thought I'd be impressed with their creativity. Hmmm.
They have said sorry and I did enjoy seeing them trying to untangle it and reroll it into a ball for about half an hour before I felt sorry for them and cut it all down for scissors. Good job Eloise's kindy is making peg dolls at the moment. They can have the mess for doll hair.
What chaos have your kids created lately?

Hee hee!
I used to think cats were a ball of wool's worst enemy, then I saw my toddler with wool... far worse (but not quite as bad as your art installation!)
I see your Fisher Price!
Sometimes you have to take deep breaths and be selective about the fights.
Lucky those two are cute!
Ha ha ha! I remember doing EXACTLY the same thing when we went to visit my grandma when I was little - oh dear! The Messes we used to make! But how real our pretend world was! Of for the rain! Love it! See you tomorrow Sarah!
They sure do make mess, don't they?
Check out my messes post if you want to make yourself feel better! The flood was caused by my nearly 2 year old leaving the basin tap on full with the plug in..

Enjoy the long weekend!
Oh my!! They really are creative!!! 2 naughty little spiders :)
Well my soon to be born son is moving around like an octopuses! This chap just doesn’t stop … Whereas my daughter was so gentle, he’s like karate kid in there!!! Hahahaha
My now-13 year old went through this phase when he was 4. He managed to spiderweb his entire bedroom a half dozen times over a three month period, using everything we kept on a spool in the house, from thread to fishing line to yarn to kitchen twine. Never a dull moment, no matter how we long for one...
